Celebrating a birthday party without games? Its not nice right…we are celebrating the birthday of a very great person and He would love to see children enjoying, playing and smiling that’s what Christ came for to spread joy and happiness in our dull lives. So don’t let Christmas be a boring exercise. Enjoy some excellent party games, here are some ideas there are many more available but these are some all time favorites each one would enjoy.

If you are playing with children try Christmas idol – who sings best. Its nice to hear kids sing, so have 2 or 3 judges and let each of the kids sing a carol. The best carol singer wins a special gift from Santa. Another interesting game is the reindeer game, You can make your hosts create antlers with panty hose, red ribbon and balloons and the team that fits it to the reindeer first in record time is the winner.

You may also play poor reindeer which is a slight alteration to the all time favorite poor pussy. Have the contestants sit in a circle, the game can be played with all ages and is a great hit. Poor reindeer is given funny antlers and goes around to one contestant and makes funny noises. The reindeer can crack jokes about Santa take a funny walk around and try everything to make the contestant laugh. The contestant should say poor reindeer three times without laughing and you can also include sweetheart I love you but I cannot smile. It is a very funny game and the person who laughs becomes the next reindeer. Everyone would enjoy it.

You can have a party game that is not just a game but can also be played with meaning for children. You may provide lot of goodies like chocolates and gifts and see how much they can fill the stocking in a specific time. Once the game is over you must tell the kids to give the stocking to the person on the right and the most filled stocking is the winner. Christmas is all about giving and we need to imbibe the spirit of giving in our children.

There are several other games that you can enjoy on Christmas like who lights the most number of candles with a single match stick or who bursts the most number of balloons by protecting his own. Charades is another all time favorite acting out Christmas characters like Santa, Elf and reindeer. You can also try Christmas movies or other aspects of Christmas or even biblical characters if your guests are conversant. You may also play find the Christmas carol by playing a tune or find Christmas birthday babies by giving clues on famous personalities born on Christmas day.

Christmas is a wonderful time so try to make it truly memorable by having some wonderful games.
