How I choose my options to get a MBA
A few years ago I was in need of furthering my skills in hospitality management. When I shopped around for a college one or two thing did not fit. It was either the timing of the classes coinciding with my work shifts or the start schedule was either past or in far future: I needed to start then and there. I enter the online search; hurdles as finances, stability and presence of internet was a problem then, so I wrote off many programs. Then I found this course where materials were sent directly to my mail and even the practice software was sent for me to download and save. For the price was fair it became my best online MBA program.
One reason why I did not consider many of the MBA degree online at the time was the scope of work. Here I was; a junior manager, crazy shifts and the need to climb up the management upon competition from other people from all over the globe. So time availability was not on my side, internet access was costly and very limited. To choose this program availability of all human resources must be in place.
At the time online executive MBA program was not an option to me for I lacked experience and clear cut career direction. As in any other industry the hospitality business is subdivided into smaller sub segments which call for specialization. I lacked that so I went for the big fish.
