Prepared For the Future With Term Life Insurance
Last summer when my Dad passed I was so glad that he had taken the right steps to make sure he did not leave us with a financial burden. He had some great term life insurance that he had all set up to take care of all the death expenses and to help out for months to come.
His death was not unexpected; he was older and had been in a worsening condition for over a year. I did not fully understand why he was shopping for no medical life insurance a few years ago but now I can see that he knew exactly what he was doing.
I think it was a very unselfish and responsible thing for him to do for everyone he loves. We will miss him dearly to say the least but to have had a financial burden on top of that would have been more devastating and made the whole situation almost unbearable.
He will be missed but he also taught me a great lesson in being responsible to your family. I have begun shopping around for some term life insurance myself and will purchase some soon. My Dad always taught me good values so I know this is the right thing for me to do.
